The Pearl BDR-1 Marching Bass Drum Hoop Protector (or ‘Rim Shooter’ as it is commonly called) can easily be fitted to the edge of your Bass Drum Hoop using a standard Drum key.

Some Bass Drummers hit the Hoop or Rim of their Bass Drum to add a different sound or feel to their prformance during a display. The Hoop Protector/Rim Shooter will allow for that different sound/feel whilst also protecting those expensive Bass Drum Hoops from getting chipped at the same time.
